My Bio: From a four year old kid who enjoyed crafts, to a (still learning) special effects artist.

Even with how talented I may be, remember that all credit goes to God. He is the One who gave me these gifts.

I am Nick Wheeler, born in 1992. I am homeschooled, and enjoy hanging out with friends, skating on my Heelys (Well not in winter...Snow = water, water = Ice = danger! You know, stuff like that...), visual effects, game making, and running this website. I am the founder, visual effects artist, and creator of Infinite Sights Productions. I supply the video props, the misc. camera equipment, put together the sound effects, and make most of the costumes from scratch. But I have yet to make a movie script good enough to get a few of my friends in it (Working on like 3). One thing that is important to note about me is that I can, and will deplete any household I enter of any kind of RootBeer! PS. I love saying the following word: WOOHOO!!!

How God led me to finding this wonderful gift: Remember. Even with how talented I may be, remember that all credit goes to God! He lead me to finding this gift of creativity!

Basically it all started when I was born...always able to think of a way to make something out of nothing, and continuously making up stories (LEGOs really help make up a good story too). When I was 4, my first physical special effect was a tank made from a fast food restaurant wind up toy, and some cardboard painted green with a white star on each side. I know it's not a computer generated effect, but a special effect nun-the-less. Even if small in scale, it is about 5" long and maybe 2-3" tall. Yes, I still have the tank. That little tank led to a world of creations! All I ever needed was paper, tape, and scissors, and something would be done by the end of the day. Everyone would ALWAYS ask, "What are you making?" And my reply never EVER changed from, "You'll see..." Paper models got bigger and bigger and eventually I made another tank, this time all paper with working treds and a spinning head! Again creations got bigger and bigger, until my best paper tape and scissors creation yet! A 4 1/2 foot long, 3 foot wide, completely paper space ship! Then I went outside and found out it flew! Yep! It would glide up to at least 10-15 ft. and when windy enough it would go 20-25 ft! Though this wasn't it, my creative abilities were only beginning to grow! The computer portion of the effects came later in life, however, prior to that I was already working my way around a camera and making short stories with my siblings. Eventually I learned how to use a camcorder that recorded on film to make stop motion animations, as found on the videos page "Lego Adventures". After that, I kind of lost my mind and became a gamer, computer games all the time, almost non-stop! It became a very boring life. Finally, I snapped out of it and said, "If I'm going to use computers so much, I better just do something useful with my skills instead of knowing the games inside and out then becoming bored of them because I already know everything..." So I pondered my future for a while, continuously watching movies, admiring what people could do just with a camera and a few lights, and then it hit me! While watching Vegitales, an awesome cartoon by BigIdea productions, I said, "Hey! Why can't I do that? Why can't I make videos and movies to entertain?!" I have always loved to entertain people, so obviously media entertainment was right down my alley! I decided to start at ground zero and try to simply copy, so I searched, and searched, and finally I found anim8or.com! It was perfect! Being able to make simple yet extremely entertaining animations with the most easy to learn program! Eventually I became quite skilled modeling 3D objects, so much so, someone in that forum asked me to design a few Star Wars space ships. I agreed and began to work on it. I became curious about what kind of movie he could be making with Star Wars models, so I asked him what he was doing. He told me how he was working on a Star Wars fanfilm and showed me a clip of one of the light saber fights, of which he had added effects using LSMaker! I asked him what he used to make the effect, and he gave me the website link. I downloaded the program and became familiar to it almost immediately. After a while, I was wanting to make a few fanfilms of my own, and I wanted to make it look professional by adding a few other kinds of effects in it. I found that there were free programs for green screen effects and rotoscoping. I looked and looked, but the first thing to come up was Virtual dub. I downloaded it and tried a few things, and although without chroma keying (Green screen effect) and rotoscoping abilities, it was quite nifty, so I decided to keep it. Eventually Debugmode came up, I had been disappointed by other programs that offered nothing to me before, so I decided not to click the link. Again the link came up when I video google searched "green screen effects." (I remembered it from regular searches I performed trying very hard to find it, and so I decided to go with it this time, and yes! At debugmode.com I finally found Wax 2.0 a program made for people like me!) I became familiar with it quite easily with a little help from online tutorials, but then after a while longer, I was constantly bombarded with videos from people who had used a similar program to Anim8or called, Blender 3D. I tried to work it a while, but the interface was so hard to get, I finally gave up. Then a tutorial came up giving me the instructions I needed to learn the blasted interface, and it payed off! I have been collecting programs over the years and continue to find more and more to fit newer needs! The only thing I have yet to do is create a movie with dialogue. Sounds easy enough, right? Well, no... It's actually very hard to write dialogue! So now I find that a new found hobby of writing my own books is helping build stories for movies I plan, and have begun working on,  to make in the future such as, "The Phantom of the Red Diamond Blade", "Johnny Timer", and "Agent Wright".
